I’m hunting for a cigar box atm, but I don’t want to buy one that’s too small or too big, I already have a Monte Cristo one, but it’s pretty small.

I absolutely love you’re interested in a cigar box!! I bought one through Daddy Mojo guitars out of Canada. Let me tell you, it blew my mind!!! You ideally need a cedar box approximately 11″ in lenth x 6-7″. It’s important to remember though, cigar boxes originated from those who had to be creative to generate an instrument (i.e. depression era jams). There are no perfect dimensions, but rather it’s all about the sound. You could theoretically buy a huge cigar box and turn it into a crazy baritone guitar. Just experiment, you’ll have fun.
you kinda know it when you see it. often the big ones are too deep and the shallow ones arent big enough.
