Do People Who Work In Reputable Cigar Shops Inform The Buyer Of The Health Hazards Of Smoking?

Say I went in (a young guy) and tried to buy a cigar – would the sales person inform me of the dangers or simply sell me the cigar, perhaps even advising me to buy it?
Or if i asked of the dangers, what do you expect they’d say?
Probably not. Most people wouldn’t tell you not to buy something they are selling. And most people who work in the tobacco shops smoke cigars or pipes anyway. If anything I would expect to get recommendations on the cigars to buy.
No. You’re obviously aware of the general risks of cigar smoking if you walked in the door.
If you asked them, they’d either laugh at you, or tell you that the risks of long-term cigar smoking include various kinds of cancers. Nothing we don’t already know.
If you’re just looking to buy one cigar for some special occasion and are worried about the health risks, sack up and just get smoking.
I have only ever been in a cigar shop once, but the owner recommended a cigar for me. If you go to a specialist shop, they assume that you know the dangers.
Yeah – and I expect McDonalds to tell me about the health risks of the Double Quarter Pounder w/Cheese and large fries that I ordered……..
I doubt they would say anything. Would a clerk at a store warn a customer that cigarettes are bad? More than likely not. I’m sure they’d be shocked if you asked them.
why would they?, i mean unless the salesperson wants too, other than that theres no reason to.
