This may sound hard,,But the truth is… This country worries more about other country well being than it’s own….How can you tell me that people in another world will lose there job because of a tax here….When most of all the AMERICAN jobs are gone from here,,,,And to other countries…I am not a hard person,, But i am unemployed , right now…Tell me who should the USA help first….
    Just one in a million

Great video, I love Nicaraguan tobacco and only smoke Nic cigars. Here in Wisconsin we are being taxed to high hell. I can no longer afford to support a good freinds cigar shop. I have to hide and order inferior Nica cigars online. For all of those who voted for Obama i would like to put a cigar out on your face. Oliva cigars rock.

Cigars are great if you get a quality, well made one. It’s like a little gift you give yourself and it is very relaxing.

Why dose it feel like where going back in time 1773 tea act. There is nothing like smoking a hand made cigar that is well age, I will never stop buying them even if they do tax the crap out of them.

correction: “and thousands would be left without any handmade cigars”

  12. MrChooch says:

Unfortunately, the tax was passed. I’ve heard it equates to forty cents per cigar. I’m a proud American, but feel that the government has become wasy too involved in personal financial ventures. This tax will most certainly reduce the number of “premium” cigars sold in the US. Short fill and machine made cigars will also see reductions.

Why not tax all the cheap crap that comes from other country’s that’s produced by machines and imported into the US. It pisses me off that my child will pay $5 or more for a toy and careful as they may be in a few minutes its breaks. This cheap crap deserves a tax way more than a fine HANDMADE cigar!

  25. moproducer says:

Theres nothing finer after a great meal than a hand-rolled Macanudo Churchill; I don’t mind paying 10 bucks for one. Thomas Marshall, Vice President under Woodrow Wilson, is best remembered for saying, What this country needs is a good 5-cent cigar. Maybe it should be, “a good 5-cent cigar TAX”.

Please give the money to the hardworking people who make these fine cigars, not our overspending government. Muchas Gracias!
