I am heading to Cuba next month and I was wondering how many cigars someone is able to bring back to Canada untaxed. I herd the Dominican you can bring back a few hundred untaxed, is Cuba the same?

Visitors leaving Cuba can take out 50 cigars, and 1.14 litres of liquor (two regular-sized bottles of 750ml). http://www.gocuba.ca/en/travelTips.asp#3
Don’t you just love it when people don’t pay attention to the question…or better yet, just assume you’re American? It’s not just Americans who post on Y/A LOL.

With regard to the Canadian regulations, it seems it is 50 cigars:http://canada.visahq.com/customs/
With regard to Cuba, there isn’t really any tax as such. I don’t know about cigars, but alcohol is often more expensive in the duty free shop than in the normal shops in town !

are you seriously asking how many cubans you can bring back?
    /facepalm
oh sorry, haha, didn’t see canada. Suppose I should read questions before flaming people.. No idea about canadian law. they can tell you at the airport you leave from. Just ask them.

Assuming you are coming back to the stats, you can’t bring any back. But it has been my experience that they won’t stop you with a box or two.

The correct answer is NONE. Cuban cigars are on the prohibited list due to U S sanctions against Cuba and trade with Cube. Obama has surrendered before and likely will cozy up to the Cuban communists. You are not supposed to go either, so you are placing yourself in a vulneable position.
