How to make a cigar box guitar

This is a rough how-to on how to make a cigar box guitar. Since each box is different I can’t give you exact instructions. Hopefully you’ll get creative and improvise.

what to you finish the neck with?

You either wire a pickup to an output jack or you buy a piezo pickup that already has a jack and tape it to the inside of the box under the bridge (usually under the bass side)
what kind of fret scale are you using
basic ly wire up a pick up with tine and volume to an output jack. sounds easier than it really is

A good hardware store or autoparts place like Napa. They call them “roll pins” where I come from.
Where can i find the “tension Pins” or hollow dowels? i checked out Home Depot and other craft shops and can’t find any.
is there a special name for them at all or special section that they would be in?

near the bridge where you hold the strings would three pins work? ( the white pin things on the bridge of an acoustic guitar)
